Delete your data

Broxy has no accounts. There is nothing to sign in to and no profile held about you, so almost everything the app knows is on your own phone and you can erase it yourself in a few taps.

1. Erase everything the app stores on your phone

This removes browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, cookies, cache, the download list and all settings:

Uninstalling the app removes the same data. Files you downloaded stay in your Downloads folder, because they belong to you — delete them from a file manager if you want them gone.

2. Reset what advertisers know

Open Android Settings, Google, Ads and choose Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID. This breaks the link between your device and the advertising profile built from it, across every app, not only Broxy.

3. Ask us to delete analytics data

Statistics collected by Firebase and AppMetrica are pseudonymous, and we need an identifier to locate them. Write to [email protected] with the subject Data deletion and include, if you can, your app instance identifier, the approximate date of installation, and your device model. We will delete the matching records and confirm to you.

4. How long it takes

We answer deletion requests within 30 days. Records that are already anonymous and cannot be linked back to any device may be kept as aggregate statistics.

5. Proxy servers

We do not keep a log of the sites you visit through the proxy, so there is no browsing record to delete. Operational counters are aggregate and rotate on a short cycle.
